General information

The Culinary Institute D'Gallia offers new career with the aim of training highly qualified professionals in the development of high-quality food products, with particular emphasis on all stages of the production process, from selecting raw materials to strategies to put them in the consumer market and abroad.

Graduate profile

Studies leading to the technical training of culinary industries develop in graduates the following powers:

  • Organize, plan, manage and supervise the production in the food sector.
  • Develop various dairy foods, meat, grains and products, bread, fruits and vegetables, alcoholic beverages and soft drinks, pickled, among others.
  • Apply proper preservation techniques, packaging and storage and quality control of foodstuffs.
  • Develop appropriate food handling practices.
  • Design and evaluate food safety systems HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).
  • Apply techniques of industrial food processing.
  • Apply marketing techniques to reach the final consumer.
  • Investigate market needs to create new products, developing new food processing industries at the level of micro and medium business.

  • Product design and development of applied technology.
  • Participation in investment projects.

Duration and certification

The Institute gives D'Gallia Technician Certificate of gastronomy industry, who have successfully passed all courses and modules met the 80% of total hours scheduled.

Upon completion students may participate in the cultural academic exchange program with the aim of achieving greater specialization in foreign schools with whom we have agreement.

Lenght: 12 months
Frequency: 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)
Hours: 6:15 pm to 9:30 pm

Registration: S/. 280 semester tuition
Monthly fee: S/. 690
Accident Insurance: S/. 80 (single payment)
Gift: 1 jacket, an apron, a pair of pants, a headkerchief and uniforms.

Requirements for registration:

  • 04 passport size color photos white background (with name and surname on the back).
  • Copy of ID (or copy birth certificate).
  • Health Card issued by a health center, a minimum validity of six months.
  • Copy of last bill of telephone, electricity or water.

Important: When making your deposit, ask the bank staff that the student's name appears on the voucher, in the area of "reference." The following fees will be credited with the code assigned.

Completion of the registration process: Having made the deposit does not mean that it is registered, for this must go to our offices, with the original and photocopy of the bank voucher.
